Lakeway – House, Pool Remodel & Kids Playhouse

This was one of my favorite projects to date, mostly because the family we worked with were such lovely people and made it a pleasure to serve them. The client is a high profile public figure so I will not put his name. They wanted several bedrooms, bathrooms, the pool and pool house all remodeled. The home is beautiful, as well as huge, but definitely needed updating and the pool especially was in a state of disrepair. I believe we saved our client several hundred thousand dollars based on another quote from a different contractor that would have taken advantage of the wealthy neighborhood. We were able to bring the best pricing and execute in a timely manner as promised with relatively few glitches I can think of.

Since the family was living there we protected the working parts of the house as best we could. I saved clients a lot of money on architects by designing layouts myself. I thoroughly enjoy the process of brain storming a new vision for a space – such as expanding the bathroom connected to their game room.

Finished product:

The client chose a lot of high end finishes which makes for a stunning result. A nice bonus was designing and building them a custom playhouse much like one I did for my own children years ago. It was amazing to see their reaction coming back from vacation to see their playroom transformed.
